Academy will offer a challenging, developmentally appropriate, training and competition environment. Following the evaluation period, all of the players will be placed in ability-based groups. Junior Academy will train two times a week and Senior Academy will train three days a week. The groups will be dynamic and, structured weekly for training and league play. The weekly selection process for every player will adhere to the performance targets specific to the player development model for each age group.
Our Academy players will have an additional night of training (Advanced Technical Performance) in the form of small-sided skills stations. The focus during these trainings is the individual, not teams. The purpose of these trainings is to help fill the players' technical backpacks, to develop their individual qualities. Primary topics for these stations are (1) passing and possession, (2) outplaying in 1v1, 2v1, 2v2, 3v2, and 3v3 situations, and (3) finishing.
Junior Academy teams compete in the Central North Conference League (CNC) and Senior Academy teams compete in the Indiana Soccer League (ISL). In addition to league play, teams enter tournaments each season as determined by the club.
